Meet the Staff
Michele has been an advanced injector since 1993. She is an expert in Botox and fillers. She specializes in cannula technique (which minimizes swelling and bruising) and she has been asked to train others in this specialized technique. She attends many different conferences and trainings throughout the year to ensure the best care for my patients and learn the newest techniques. She has advanced skills with skin care, microdermabrasion, microneedling and lasers and was one of the first nurses in Tennessee to perform sclerotherapy (spider vein treatments). It is still one of her favorite procedures! Michele is an active member of the American College of Phlebology, American Society of Plastic Surgery Nurses, and Tennessee Society of Laser Medicine. With an extensive background in ICU and ER nursing. Michele serves as an injector at our Cool Springs office as well as our Mount Juliet location two days a week.
Sharry is an extremely skilled and gentle injector and has been serving at Cool Springs Plastic Surgery since 1997. She advises and assists patients in all areas of plastic surgery nursing, as well as in preoperative patient education, intraoperative care and postoperative care. She is highly proficient in the use of injectable fillers and Botox, skin care, chemical peels and microdermabrasion. Sharry sees patients at our Cool Springs office as well as our Music Row location to better serve the Nashville area!
Susan Conner Vickers
RN, BSN, CANS – Nurse Injector
Susan is a Registered Nurse and Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist, specializing in dermal filler and neurotoxin injections, lasers and skin care since 2008.
In 1994, she graduated from Broward Community College with an Associate of Science Degree in nursing. In 2012, she earned a Baccalaureate Degree in nursing at Aquinas College. Recently she successfully took the national certification, Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist. She frequently attends seminars and specialized training classes in order to stay up to date with the newest products and skin care treatments. She also has extensive experience using many different types of lasers for cosmetic purposes. Susan believes that the use of dermal fillers and neurotoxins is an art. Cosmetic services, combined with a good skin care regimen, are used to achieve individualized rejuvenation and enhance natural beauty.

Emily has been a nurse with Cool Springs Plastic Surgery since May 2015. Emily graduated from Auburn University in 2008 with her Bachelors in Human Development then decided to return to nursing school in 2010. Emily moved to Nashville in 2012 and says that her favorite part of Music City is the small town feel in a big city setting. Emily went through 4 months of training on injectables by national Allergan and P.A.L.L.E.T.T.E. trainer, Haley Wood, NP. She has attended several conferences and trainings all over the country, from Miami to San Diego, learning from some of the world’s most advanced injectors including Dr. Arthur Swift, Dr. Mauricio de Maio & Dr. Woffles Wu. Emily is a member of the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses as well as the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists. Emily has a passion for aesthetic nursing & is dedicated to helping her patients put their best face forward.
Natalie Copeland, NP
NP– Nurse Injector
Natalie has spent her entire career in aesthetics, and has been injecting patients since 2010. Upon completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Belmont University, Natalie quickly developed a passion for aesthetics and found gratification in helping her patients feel their best. Prior to working at Cool Springs Plastic Surgery, Natalie worked for Galderma where she taught doctors, NPs, PAs, and nurses injection techniques, best practices and the science behind the neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and collagen stimulators. Natalie prides herself on consulting with each patient to understand their needs and desired results, and creates an individualized treatment plan to meet those goals. Natalie brings a unique mix of advanced education, real-world training, and an eye for beauty to her list of discriminating clients who appreciate Natalie’s gentle touch and personalized attention. Natalie offers neurotoxin injectables (Botox/Dysport), filler, Scleroptherapy, and laser treatments at our Music Row location.
Heather graduated from the Aveda Institute in May 2015 and has been with Cool Springs Plastic Surgery since May 2016. She is an active member of the Society of Plastic Surgical Skincare Specialists. Heather has attended the SPSSS annual meeting, SkinMedica Summit, Music City Scale and has taken laser/IPL fundamental classes under John E. Hoopman, CMLSO and Patrick J Clark, CMLSO. Advanced training in Ultherapy and Microneedling along with the latest in skincare ingredients keeps her on the cutting edge of our field. Esthetic schools have asked Heather to speak to their students and she has presented skincare discussions to various groups seeking her expertise. Her passions include educating and serving her patients with honesty, compassion and transforming results.

Olivia is a registered nurse who graduated from Lipscomb University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Science of Nursing in May of 2015. She was brought on to the Cool Springs Plastic Surgery team within a week of her graduation and is now a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses. She practiced as a CNA home health aide and fitness instructor during her four years at Lipscomb which contributed to her passion for health and nursing. Olivia chose to do her clinical preceptorship in the operating room to further her knowledge of preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative care. Throughout a patient’s surgical experience, Olivia will be a familiar face in the consultation, surgery, and postoperative visits. Her favorite part of being involved in this practice is participating in the patient’s journey. Olivia notes, “It’s very rewarding to be a part of a surgical experience that can improve a patient’s quality of life and bring them so much happiness at the same time.”

Lezlie’s first nursing experience after graduating nursing school in 1999 was a plastic surgery operation. For the past 16 years she has worked in surgery from helping directly in the operating room to all aspects of pre and postoperative clinical care. Lezlie received her Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee College of Nursing. She began her nursing career at Vanderbilt Medical Center as a scrub and circulating nurse in orthopedic surgery in 1999. In 2007 she joined the Vanderbilt Center for Cosmetic Plastic Surgery as a perioperative nurse and a clinic nurse. In May of 2015 Lezlie joined Cool Springs Plastic Surgery as the Clinical Nursing Director. She is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses. Lezlie enjoys being in the operating room as well as seeing patients in clinic from consultation to postoperative visits.
Patient Operations Coordinator
Lynn has been serving at Cool Springs Plastic Surgery since 2003. She has worked in medical administration for over 30 years, and her knowledge and experience allow her to assist you with the information necessary to answer your questions. Her understanding of the inner workings of our practice is unparalleled, and she is the most talented multitasker you will ever meet!
Cindi joined Cool Springs Plastic Surgery in 2013. Cindi is a natural people person. She loves interacting with patients, who often comment on how comfortable she makes them feel. She is currently one of our Patient Liaisons and is the primary surgery scheduler for Dr Papillion. As the surgery scheduler, you will meet with her after you have had your consult. She will discuss your treatment plan, answer all of your financial questions, and find the perfect time for you to have the procedure. She is passionate about making sure that you have a wonderful experience.
Lisa has been a part of the Cool Springs Plastic Surgery team since 2006. During your consultation, Lisa will meet with you to discuss your unique treatment plan and answer any questions you may have regarding finances. She has an extensive background in sales, service and physician and client relations. Although her focus is on the patient experience, she is also extremely knowledgeable and helpful in other areas of business as well. Lisa has worked in various areas in the medical field for more than twelve years and enjoys the challenges and rewards of cosmetic surgery.
Savannah has been with the Cool Springs Plastic Surgery team since the spring of 2015, and might be the first voice you hear when contacting the office! She is passionate about serving our patients and hopes she can brighten their day, whether they are calling for the first time or have been coming for years.
Angel is one of the first to greet you when you come into the office. She has been with the practice since spring 2015. Angel received her undergraduate degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, in Nacogdoches, Texas. She later graduated with her Masters Degree in Administration from The Ohio State University. She looks forward to seeing patients, making their experience a pleasant one.
Nicole started working with our Cool Springs Plastic Surgery team in March of 2016. She is another voice you might hear when contacting our office. Before joining our practice, Nicole studied Health & Wellness, along with being trained as a dance instructor. She is dedicated to assisting you with any questions or scheduling needs you may have, and hopes to make your experience with our practice a pleasant one!
Kendall serves as the Marketing Director for Cool Springs Plastic Surgery. She graduated from Western Kentucky University in May 2016 with a degree in business management. If you have received an email from Cool Springs Plastic Surgery about any events or news within the practice, chances are, it is coming from Kendall. Kendall says: “When you are passionate about the company you work for, finding ways to tell others about it is the most exciting part of your week”.
Mackenzie joined the practice in the Summer of 2016. She is also one of the first people you will see when you come into the office. Mackenzie was at The University of Tennessee prior to joining the team. She works three days a week at the front desk in the office and works as a Pure Barre instructor in her time off. Mackenzie is always excited to greet patients and help make their time here at Cool Springs Plastic Surgery an enjoyable experience.
