Most patients tolerate Moxi well. Depending on the treatment level, your provider may use cooling air and recommend a numbing cream to keep you comfortable.
No. Your skin may look slightly dewy or a little pink right after, but most people go straight back to their day, or even to an event. There's no peeling and no recovery period.
Pricing depends on your treatment plan and whether you book a single session or a package. Packages are typically more economical for a full series. Call (615) 771-7718 or book a consultation for current pricing at your closest location.
Our injectables, laser, and skin treatments are delivered by our skilled team of nurse injectors and aesthetic providers — all within a surgeon-led practice overseen by board-certified plastic surgeons Dr. John Reagan Moore and Dr. Konrad Sarosiek.
You are fitted with a compression garment immediately after surgery and should not remove or loosen it until your surgeon directs you to. The stage one garment is typically worn for 7 to 10 days, after which you may be cleared to switch to a stage two garment. We ask patients to wear some form of compression for six weeks.
Yes — this is strongly recommended. A future pregnancy can stretch the abdominal skin and muscles and affect breast results, potentially reversing your outcome. While a later pregnancy poses no added health risk, completing your family first gives the most lasting result.
Yes. Many patients choose a “Mommy Makeover,” combining a tummy tuck with breast procedures like augmentation or a lift. At your consultation we discuss the safety and benefits of combining procedures to reach your goals.
Both are safe and FDA-approved. Silicone tends to feel more like natural tissue; saline offers the ability to overfill to create a firmer feel. You and your surgeon will discuss the amount of breast tissue you have and the best option for your goals and anatomy.
No. A breast lift raises and reshapes the breast but does not add volume. In fact, a small amount of breast tissue is removed during a breast lift, so your breast volume will become slightly smaller. If you want more fullness, particularly in the upper breast, a lift is combined with implants. If you want less weight, it is combined with a reduction.
While the majority of breast reduction patients decide to have surgery in their 20s and 30s, there is nothing preventing a woman from seeking the procedure in her middle age so long as she remains a good candidate. In many cases, a woman starts to experience more back, neck, and shoulder pain as she gets older, which may finally motivate her to decrease the volume of her breasts. Cool Springs Plastic Surgery recommends that patients wait until at least the age of 18 to have a breast reduction. The breasts continue to grow throughout puberty, so waiting ensures that the breasts have fully developed and our surgeon can create long-lasting, appealing contours. (In some cases, young women who have had the surgery prematurely have seen their breasts re-enlarge.)
