How many units of Dysport equal one unit of Botox?
There isn't a fixed conversion. Both FDA labels state that units of one botulinum toxin product can't be compared to or converted into units of another. Dysport is typically dosed in higher unit numbers than Botox, which is why the unit counts look different, but the two aren't swapped by formula. Your injector chooses the product and dose for each area based on your anatomy and goals.

The most common side effects are temporary bruising, swelling, or redness at the injection site and a mild headache in the first day or two. Results are temporary and typically last three to four months. Botox is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for patients with certain neuromuscular conditions.
