Will I be able to breastfeed after a breast lift?
Many patients are able to breastfeed after a breast lift, but it cannot be guaranteed. Numbness and decreased nipple sensation are normal at first and typically return over a few weeks to a few months. Tell your surgeon during consultation if future breastfeeding is important to you.

Can breast reduction address asymmetry?
Yes, if a patient has different sized breasts, a breast reduction is one solution for creating breasts that match in size. However, for patients who would prefer the smaller breast to match the larger breast, a breast augmentation is the better solution.

How long is breast augmentation recovery?
Most patients take about a week off work and ease back into activity over several weeks, avoiding strenuous exercise for roughly 4 to 6 weeks. We provide a personalized recovery timeline.

What is the difference between a breast lift and breast augmentation?
A breast lift removes excess skin and repositions the nipple to raise sagging breasts, without changing volume. Breast augmentation adds volume with an implant but does not correct significant sagging. Patients with both concerns often combine the two in a single procedure.
