Risks + Considerations
HydraFacial is a non-invasive treatment with minimal downtime, but mild side effects are possible. Temporary redness, tightness or slight sensitivity for a few hours after treatment is normal. Some patients experience brief purging or small breakouts as congestion clears. Patients with active rashes, sunburn, open lesions or active cold sores should postpone treatment, and certain boosters are not recommended during pregnancy. Tell your provider about any retinoid use or recent chemical peels, as these can increase sensitivity.
