One personalized plan for your goals after pregnancy. A mommy makeover combines procedures like a tummy tuck, breast lift, breast augmentation, and liposuction to address several concerns in one surgery — performed by our board-certified plastic surgeons and built around your body and your goals.
If several of these sound like you, a consultation is the right next step. Your provider will confirm candidacy and walk through the plan that fits your goals.

Our Brentwood flagship is home to an onsite surgical facility designed to support patient safety, privacy, comfort, and continuity of care. For healthy candidates, combining procedures is safe and common. Surgical time is typically 4–6 hours, and the combined approach often produces better aesthetic results because the procedures complement each other. Dr. Moore and Dr. Sarosiek evaluate your medical history, BMI, and overall health to confirm you're a safe candidate.
Avoid lifting anything heavier than 10 pounds for the first 4–6 weeks, and no lifting children during early recovery. Arranging help with young children for at least 2–4 weeks is essential — CSPS provides a full recovery preparation guide so you can plan childcare, meals, and household help in advance.
There's no single best age. The right timing depends on whether you're done having children and whether your body has stabilized after pregnancy. Many patients are in their 30s or 40s, but candidacy is based on your health and goals, not your age.
Results are long-lasting when you maintain a stable weight and avoid future pregnancies. The tummy tuck and muscle repair are essentially permanent, while breast results may change gradually with age — a balanced lifestyle helps preserve your outcome for years.
A mommy makeover restores the body after pregnancy and weight changes — combining abdominal, breast, and contouring procedures to address several concerns in one surgery. It removes stretched, sagging skin left behind after pregnancy or major weight loss for a smoother, flatter abdominal contour; repairs and tightens abdominal muscles that have separated (diastasis recti), restoring core strength and a firmer profile; combined with liposuction, removes pockets of fat around the lower abdomen and flanks that resist diet and exercise; and deflated or sagging breasts after pregnancy and nursing can be restored with a lift, implants, or both.
A mommy makeover combines two or more procedures — most often a tummy tuck with a breast lift, augmentation, or liposuction — into one surgery and one recovery, performed by our board-certified plastic surgeons under anesthesia.
Removes excess skin and repairs separated abdominal muscles across the midsection — the foundation of most mommy makeovers.
Lifts and reshapes sagging breasts and repositions the nipple for a firmer, more youthful contour after nursing or weight changes.
Restores lost breast volume with implants for a fuller, more balanced shape — often combined with a lift.
Refines the waist, flanks, and stubborn areas to sculpt your overall contour in the same surgery.
Plan for about two weeks off normal activity. Most patients ease back gradually, resume exercise around six weeks, and see results refine over several months.
A Mommy Makeover combines multiple surgical procedures in one operation, which means one anesthesia and one recovery but also a longer time under anesthesia than any single procedure alone. Risks include infection, bleeding, reaction to anesthesia, and blood clots. Fluid collection beneath the skin (seroma) is the most common complication after a tummy tuck and may require drainage. Changes in sensation across the abdomen and breasts are common and may be temporary or permanent. Scarring is permanent, though incisions are placed to be concealed by clothing. Smoking significantly increases the risk of poor healing. Because a Mommy Makeover is tailored to each patient, your surgeon will review which risks apply to your specific combination of procedures at consultation.
You’re at a stable, healthy weight — a mommy makeover refines and restores; it isn’t a weight-loss procedure. You have excess skin or muscle laxity, often from pregnancy or significant weight changes. You’re a non-smoker, or willing to stop well before surgery so your body heals beautifully. And you have realistic expectations about what surgery can achieve.
