What is recovery like after BBL?
There is no peeling and you may apply makeup immediately after treatment. You may experience some swelling and possible bruising. Treated brown pigment will darken over the next 7 to 10 days before microscopically sloughing off. Most patients return to their normal day the same afternoon.
What are the risks of Halo laser treatment?
The most important risk is post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. To reduce it, our providers ask patients to stay out of the sun for at least two weeks after treatment and to maintain constant sunscreen coverage. Less common risks include prolonged redness, temporary lightening or darkening of treated skin, blistering, infection, and scarring. Your provider will review your skin type, medical history, and medications before recommending Halo.
How many Moxi treatments will I need?
It depends on your goals and level of damage. Most patients receive 3 to 4 corrective treatments, then continue with regular maintenance treatments through the year.
How is a HydraFacial different from a regular facial?
A traditional facial is performed by hand. A HydraFacial uses a dedicated device with a vortex-suction tip that cleanses, exfoliates, extracts and infuses serums in one sequence, so every treatment follows the same consistent steps. There's no downtime with either.
