Moxi delivers fractionated, non-ablative laser energy that creates micro-coagulation zones in the skin. The body repairs those zones, replacing damaged cells with fresh new ones. The result is tonal and textural improvement with low downtime.
Most patients tolerate Moxi well. Depending on the treatment level, your provider may use cooling air and recommend a numbing cream to keep you comfortable.
Results vary with your goals and level of sun damage. The day after treatment your skin may be red, and you may see tiny dots called MENDs (microscopic treatment zones) where the laser was applied. As they heal they darken and feel rough, then flake off between days 3 and 5 to reveal refreshed skin.
Post care is simple because Moxi is non-ablative. Wear a moisturizing physical sunscreen and stay out of the sun. You may wear makeup 24 hours after your treatment.
Sun spots and sun damage, uneven pigmentation, melasma, pores and texture concerns, fine lines, firmness and stretch marks. Moxi can treat the face, neck, chest and hands, the areas that show sun damage first, as well as body skin concerns.
