Yes. Moxi is appropriate for all skin types and can be performed year-round, including summer, as long as you follow sun-protection guidance afterward.
Sun spots and sun damage, uneven pigmentation, melasma, pores and texture concerns, fine lines, firmness and stretch marks. Moxi can treat the face, neck, chest and hands, the areas that show sun damage first, as well as body skin concerns.
Moxi is a gentle, non-ablative fractional laser that creates micro-coagulation zones in the skin. The body repairs those zones, replacing damaged cells with fresh new ones.
After treatment you may see redness and small micro dots called MENDZ where the laser was applied. These darken and feel rough, then slough off between days 3 and 5, revealing renewed skin underneath. Most patients need 3 to 4 corrective treatments, then continue with regular maintenance treatments.

Wondering if you can get a laser treatment during the summer? It depends on the treatment, your recent sun exposure, and your skin. Here’s what may be safe now, what’s better for fall, and how to prep for laser season.
